US Drug Watchdog Warns Urges Victims Of The Meningitis Outbreak Linked To The New England Compoundin
The US Drug Watchdog is urging any victim, or family member of a victim of a outbreak of a rare and deadly form of meningitis that has now sickened 35 people in five states-who received steroid injections mostly for back pain to call them, if they have been seriously injured. According to the Associated Press on October 5th 2012, "New England Compounding Center (NECC) is working closely with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy and other regulators to identify the source of infection in patients who received injections of methylprednisolone
