Dutch Foundation Presses Netherlands and Argentinian Governments on Human Rights
Three years following the arrest of Netherlands/Argentinian citizen and Air France/KLM Group airline captain Julio Poch in Valencia on 22 September 2009, Poch remains detained without trial. Extradited to Argentina on 18 January 2010, as covered by the BBC (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/8466280.stm), Poch’s lawyer Mr. Knoops filed a formal application on 6 October 2011 to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) in Wahington, DC (case number P-1815-10), citing six violations.
