The US Drug Watchdog says, "We have recently learned there are only about 3500 ASR DePuy hip implant recipients signed up for litigation related to the recalled ASR DePuy hip implant. We think the number should be over 10,000, and we fear the reason the number of plaintiffs is so low is few people want to go through hip implant replacement surgery again. This is also called revision surgery."
