The US Drug Watchdog is now calling its defective metal-on-metal hip implant initiative the potential largest medical device failure ever. The group believes the metal-on-metal hip implant issue is going to involve most metal-on metal suppliers to US recipients, and they say, "We think the numbers of failed metal-on-metal hip implant recipients in the United States will be in the 100,000's, and we intend to do our best to identify everyone of them, to insure they get the absolute best possible attorneys, and compensation."
