Carbon NYC Collects Food and Donations Supporting the Food Bank For New York City through its First

Carbon NYC hosted its Fall Fête at the new Fulton on Thursday, November 17th, 2011. The event was attended by 150 Carbon Members and guests and coincided with the New York Jets game against the Denver Broncos. As part of the fall themed event, guests were encouraged to bring non-perishable food or to donate money to Carbon’s Virtual Food Drive hosted on the website of the Food Bank For New York City. Guests brought over 100 pounds of food to the event, as well as monetary donations, creating an overflow at one end of the venue. Throughout the evening, Carbon staff collected donation
