Listeria May Incubate for Two Months in Those Who Consumed Cantaloupe Houston, Texas (PRWEB) October 11, 2011 People who ate Jensen Farms’ Rocky Ford brand cantaloupe could continue to contract listeriosis into November, according to attorneys at the Johnson Law Group. Though Jensen issued a voluntary recall of its cantaloupe on Sept. 14, listeria bacteria can take up to 2 months to develop into listeriosis after the bacteria is consumed on tainted food.
