This moderate three car in-line rear-end collision. Plaintiff claimed assorted musculoskeletal injuries, including a cervical strain, as well as a mild brain injury. Her psychologist Dr. Schneider claimed she had slow processing speed as evidence of her brain injury. Plaintiff's settlement demand was $500,000. Defendant made a C.C.P. section 998 offer of $15,000. The jury awarded $22,948. Defendant will pursue her costs, as the verdict was under the jurisdictional amount.
