BP's Complaint against Halliburton
BP Exploration & Production, Inc. vs. Halliburton Energy Services, Inc., in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, Case # 2:11-cv-01526 -- On April 20, 2010, Deepwater Horizon, an offshore drilling rig operated by Transocean Ltd. on behalf of BP exploded in the Gulf of Mexico. In this complaint, filed April 20, 2011, BP alleges that Halliburton's negligent and intentional contributed to the oil spill and seeks monetary and declaratory relief.
